Your old shed has an exit plan.

CleanNest helps Redlands property owners plan the cleanout, dismantling, loading, and debris removal around one clear outcome: usable yard space.

One structure. Six decisions.

A shed job gets clearer when you separate the contents, structure, base, utilities, access, and debris. The site walk should answer each one before work starts.

Measuring shed access before removal

A better estimate starts at the gate.

Measure the shed, then measure the route out. Show steps, slopes, soft ground, tight corners, air-conditioning equipment, pools, and the distance to legal parking.

  • Front, back, side, roof, base, and interior photos
  • Shed length, width, and height
  • Narrowest gate or passage
  • Known utilities and attachments
  • Contents and material types

Questions that change the plan

These are the details worth settling before anyone quotes or schedules the job.

Does the shed need to be empty?

Not always, but contents change the scope. Remove valuables, documents, fuel, chemicals, propane, batteries, and anything you plan to keep.

Is the concrete pad included?

Do not assume it is. Slab and footing removal depend on thickness, reinforcement, access, disposal weight, and the agreed written scope.

What photos help with an estimate?

Send the front, back, both sides, roof, base, interior, nearby structures, narrowest gate, stairs, and the full path to the street.

What if the shed has power or plumbing?

The utility must be safely disconnected and verified before demolition. The responsible qualified trade and permit process should be settled first.

Photograph it. Measure it. Decide what stays.
